Being a dietitian with my own private practice, I meet new women on a daily basis searching for answers with regards to what to eat to be the best healthy version of themselves. I see the confusion and apprehension around food choices with all the conflicting information that they are bombarded with. I think that this would be a great platform for me to show women how easy and fun healthy food can be using evidence based nutritional advice. And at the same time, show them that it can be cost effective and not time consuming.
I’d also like to emphasize the importance of personalization and help women to see that what’s best for one person may not be the best for you and that’s okay! This doesn’t make you a failure because one size doesn’t fit all. We are all individuals in our own right with our own unique needs and these are important considerations.
Establishing my own practice at such a young age was definitely hard work but is certainly a dream come true. I’d like to inspire women to keep pushing forward and never give up on their goals no matter what the world throws at you and no matter how old/young you are!
Eating healthy and staying fit is part of my daily routine and I’ve turned it into a sustainable lifestyle. Still enjoying treats in moderation and taking time off to rest to stay mentally well, looking and feeling great. I think that I would be the perfect role model to inspire women to fall in love with living a healthy lifestyle and learn to celebrate their bodies in the process!
